Lindart Designs is a designer of handcrafted beaded Jewelry. I design, modify, create, repair, and teach all avenues of beaded jewelry making. All the items are made here in the USA , in Central New Jersey with the personalized touch.

In 1994 the beading frenzy took me over. I decided to buy a jewelry kit that included beads as well as jewelry making tools. I put together a bracelet and some earrings.  I brought my creations to my daytime office job and sold everything that I made.  The very next day, I purchased more beads, findings and a jewelry making book.  In 1996 I was featured in the Sentinel Newspaper for Monroe Township which allowed me to discuss my dreams of becoming a jewelry artisan.  One of my designs was featured in a newsletter that sells charms, beads and other jewelry making materials. I have also done many exhibits including the Jamesburg Public Library where my creations were displayed in their showcase. I also did a bridal show at the Woodbridge, Hilton where the models wore my custom wedding pieces such as matching bridesmaid pearls, bridal earrings and necklaces. Most bridal pieces that you purchase only come in a 16 inch size. We know that all brides need the necklace to sit in the right spot in retrospect to their wedding gown, my custom service can create that perfect look.  I took classes which has taught me certain healing properties of gemstones, where they originated from and some of the folklore behind them.

My motto is “Specializing in Customizing”.  I say this because my designs are user friendly.  I always keep in mind that bracelets can sometimes be difficult to put on.  If you notice, I put a few extra beads around the clasp or I make them so they can stretch and have no clasp.  If you have severe arthritis it is easier to slide on or hold something while trying to clasp together. In the past I have worked with women who have had difficulty putting necklaces on because they could not raise their arms.  I created long, lightweight necklaces that required no effort to wear.  One of my clients did not have pierced ears and she complained that she could not wear long dangling earrings.  I was able to create long earrings for her and made her very happy.  I keep in mind that not everyone can not wear jewelry because of some sort of allergy.  One of the earring wires I work with is called Niobium. Niobium is an elemental metal which is strong and flexible.  It is anodized and not dyed which does not cause allergies like most metals.  I also use Sterling Silver as well as 14kt gold filled wires.  Most of my beaded pieces are made up of glass beads and genuine gemstones.  I guarantee all of my work and if it comes apart from normal wear and tear I will either repair it or replace it.

The most joy I receive is when a customer has had a necklace that isn’t expensive, but is very sentimental and I will repair it in front of them and the joy in their eyes for them to be able to wear it is wonderful  I can usually repair most costume pieces where a regular jewelry store would not touch. In 2006 I graduated from (GIA) Gemology Institute of America which certifies me as a Pearl and bead stringer.
